A growing number of firms are delivering educational content to their salesforces via podcasts. The sales reps can download the digital audio files to their ipod and listen to at their convenience.
Podcasting has become part of the sales training. As the salespeople are busy, when they download the mp3 ; they can even listen with their ipod while having lunch or in the toilet. The reps are also use the iPods to download audiobooks on management or salesmanship to improve their skills.
Nowadays, there are many companies converting all their training and communication to mp3.
…but when it comes to sales, I found that more and more customers looking for less technology and more personal relationship. It is advisable for salespeople to listen the customers personally . In other words, we can use all the cool gadget such as iPods so long we take out the white earbuds when we communicating with prospects.
With the current situation , money is going to be tight to most of our customers. That means, any sales person has to do more convincing jobs to our prospects. More convincing , more hardwork , less time to read.
